National Poetry Day is an annual celebration on the first Thursday of October. The celebration encourages everyone to make, experience and share poetry with their family and friends.
Each year we come together because voices, words and stories help to bridge understanding and express emotions in our communities.
This year, National Poetry Day will be celebrated on Thursday 5 October 2023- The theme is Refuge.
Classes throughout the school will take part in poetry activities this week to help inspire a new generation of poets and enthusiasts ✍🏿 🤩 👏🏻
