We have been developing our mathematical skills using a brand new maths programme.
This programme encourages us to take risks, be curious about our learning, and have a go. It has already helped to develop our understanding of mathematical concepts.
First, we focused on patterns. We copied, repeated and created lots of colour, shape, and size patterns.
We then focused on number. Our magic number this week is number four! We have been counting sets using our Peter pointer to touch count accurately and five frames to represent numbers within five. We have also been practicing our number formation.
We are magical at maths!
